It is for some time now that I started this block but I did not finish it because I am busy with other projects, I enlisted so many SALs and BOMs that it is impossible for me to keep up... :))
No me ha quedado muy bien porque como con el A-1, lo hice con entretela en varias partes y al unirlas queda tan gordote que no hay manera de plancharlo, asi que se la retiré y eso ha hecho que se vean las puntadas. No me esta convenciendo nada este método al coser a mano en este tipo de bloques asi que me temo que tendre que volver a las plantillas y al normal piecing en estos casos... A ver si le pongo algo más de marcha a esto y os muestro ya unos cuantos bloquecitos unidos que mis compañeras de costura ya llevan tres filas completas y yo aun ni he acabado la primera... :(
It did not turn out too good because like with A-1, I made it with several pieces of a see-through special fabric under it (like when you do paper foundation-piecing) and it makes it too thick to iron it properly. After finishing it I removed the special fabric and this is why the stitchs can be seen. I am not convinced with this method in this type of blocks when you hand-sew, so I think I am back to normal piecing in these cases... Let's see if I can speed up this and show you some blocks joint together, my stitching-mates have already finished 3 rows and I still did not make it with the first one... :(

Las telas preciosas, piensa que de los errores se aprende. Hay que experimentar de vez en cuando, pero si te funciona mejor el otro método, al ataque!!!

Te sientes más acompañada cuando todo el mundo protesta a la vez de lo dificil que es el bloque...o decimos que algunos (pocos) son facilitos.

Yo cuando hago paper piecing a mano porque las piezas son muy pequeñas, lo que hago es utilizar papel de seda, en vez de la entretela, y ese sí que se quita bien una vez que lo has cosido... Eso sí, hay que tener cuidadito, que el papel se puede romper...

hola me llamo úrsula, no tengo blog pero sigo el tuyo con mucho interés. También hago el Dear Jane y soy muy aficionada a los trabajos tipo logcabin y si quieres un consejo te recomiendo que cuando tengas tantas piezas lo cosas sobre un folio de papel (en lugar de la entretela) a puntada muy estrecha, a la hora de sacarlo se hace muy facil porque el papel se desgarra y no se ven las puntadas.
